About Lyrix Organix

Lyrix Organix celebrate 10 years in 2019. A pioneering live events and youth education company that explore the space between language and music - specialising in artistic social action projects across the world.

Since its launch in 2009 as a DIY charity night - upstairs in a West London pub (Paradise by way of Kensal Green), Lyrix Organix has seen pivotal performances from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Akala, Kate Tempest and the cream of the spoken word, hip hop and folk scenes. They have hosted shows at Roundhouse, Tate Britain and London 2012; co-produce UK and Mexican Beatbox Championships; direct the acclaimed ‘UnFOLD’; and curate their own venue at Glastonbury Festival (the infamous Rum Shack).

Lyrix Organix’s reputation for building platforms for young people, on stage and behind the scenes, has seen them deliver innovative combined-arts workshop programmes from Ethiopia to Russia with a team of world-renowned voices, artists and exceptional educators.
